A. Legacy Internet Fax services don't support fax machines. FaxLogic lets you keep your fax machine and give it Internet-powered features. Q. Can I keep my existing local or toll-free fax number?
A. In most cases, we can port your local or toll-free fax number to FaxLogic. We also provide new local and toll-free fax numbers.
Q. Can I get a new local fax number in a different area code?
A. Yes. We can provide fax numbers in any area code in our extensive inventory, which is growing all the time.
Q. Can I have more than one fax number in the same account?
A. Yes. FaxLogic lets you have as many local and toll-free fax numbers as you need, and you can consolidate them in one account with one bill, making administration and accounting simple and convenient.
Q. What happens to my fax number if I cancel? Can I take it with me?
A. Whether you brought your fax number or FaxLogic provided it, you can take it with you if you leave. A small porting fee will apply.
Q. What is the minimum contract or commitment period?
A. No long-term contracts or commitments are required with FaxLogic's month-to-month service plans.
Q. Are there any termination fees?
A. No. You may cancel at any time. Your service will continue until the end of the monthly billing cycle in which you cancel. We do not prorate service for partial months. If you cancel within the 90-day guarantee period, your service will terminate immediately, and we will refund your monthly recurring fees, less actual usage.
Q. What kind of equipment do I need to use FaxLogic?
A. You can use any number and combination of ordinary fax machines, computers, scanners, multi-function printers, smartphones and tablets. To use your existing fax machine, you will need our exclusive Fax Adapter, which lets you connect any standard fax machine to FaxLogic over the Internet. With support for multiple Fax Adapters per account, you can connect as many fax machines in as many locations as you need.
Q. What technical skills are required to use FaxLogic?
A. Anyone who can use a standard fax machine is ready to use FaxLogic. Anyone familiar with desktop e-mail software (e.g. Microsoft Outlook) or a webmail service (e.g. Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo! Mail) will have no problem using FaxLogic's Advanced Web Client.
Q. My business has many employees and locations? Do I sign-up online or do I need a custom quote?
A. If your organization has many employees or locations, or you have special faxing requirements, we recommend a custom quote. Please contact us with a description of your situation, and we will be happy to guide you to the right solution.
Q. Do I need a credit card to sign-up?
A. For most accounts, a credit card is required. For enterprise accounts, optional invoice billing is available.
