Q. Do I pay usage fees for faxes that don't connect?
A. No. FaxLogic charges usage fees only for successful fax deliveries.
Q. What is a Usage Credit?
A. A Usage Credit is a unit of local currency exclusive to FaxLogic. It is the exchange medium we use to valuate all fax transmissions. Every FaxLogic plan includes some free pages every month. If you exhaust your free pages in a given month, you must have enough Usage Credits in your account to cover your usage fees. If you incur usage fees but have no available Usage Credits, we add Usage Credits to your bill to cover your usage fees and to replenish your Usage Credit balance. These Usage Credits are billed at our standard rate. You can choose the quantity of Usage Credits we add to your account, when you create your account. This automatic Usage Credit replenishment ensures uninterrupted service.
Q. How are inbound and outbound pages billed?
A. Domestic inbound faxes are billed ½ Usage Credit per page for local faxes or 1 Usage Credit per page for toll-free faxes. All domestic outbound faxes are billed 1 Usage Credit per page. International outbound faxes are billed according to destination zone. Faxes to any country in a given zone are billed at the published rate for that zone. Q. How do I calculate the usage fee to send my international fax?
A. FaxLogic groups countries into zones. Each zone defines a Usage Credit Multiplier, or the number of Usage Credits billed per page or per minute. To calculate the usage fee to send your fax, find the zone for the destination country and multiply the Usage Credit Multiplier for that zone by the number of pages you are sending, then multiply the Usage Credit Multiplier for that zone by the number of minutes of transmission time. Q. What charges will I see on my bill?
A. With FaxLogic, there are no surprises. Your bill includes the recurring fee for your plan, for access to the FaxLogic system, plus usage fees, if any. Every plan includes some free pages every month, so usage fees appear only after you exhaust the free pages each month. Unused free pages do not carry over to the next month, but you do get new free pages each month. Additional purchases you make for Usage Credits or Fax Adapters appear, as well. Where required, we add sales tax for taxable items.
Q. How can I save money on my FaxLogic service?
A. You can save money on your FaxLogic service by paying annually. Instead of a monthly recurring fee, you can pay a discounted annual recurring fee. Also, you can buy Usage Credits at discounted rates. Usage Credits in your account cover any usage fees that you incur after exhausting the free pages provided monthly with your plan. Usage Credits never expire as long as your account is active, so you can buy them in advance to have for later use.
Q. If I choose credit card billing, how often is my credit card charged?
A. For the recurring fee, we charge your credit card monthly or annually, at your option. If you incur usage fees but have no available Usage Credits, we charge your credit card for Usage Credits to cover your usage fees and to replenish your Usage Credit balance. These Usage Credits are billed at our standard rate. You can choose the quantity of Usage Credits we add to your account, when you create your account. This automatic Usage Credit replenishment ensures uninterrupted service. For all other purchases, including prepaid Usage Credits and Fax Adapters, we charge your credit card at the time of purchase.
